Wulai

Wulai, a very interesting and scenic place. If I got more time I'll come back and edit this post to put in more details.

There's this 80m famous Wulai fall. There's this Old Street selling many local Atayala tribe's delicacies. From Wulai fall I walked 1.5 hour (I walked very briskly) to reach Nei Dong Natural Park (it's a long long walk, but highly recommended - otherwise you can pay TWD200 from the cable car station and take a taxi where it'll take about 15min to reach via road), a even more scenic place where there are numerous falls and a famous 3 layers waterfalls. It is reputed to be the place with the most concentrated negative-ions in Taiwan. Azure water with breaking rapids throughout the Nan Xi river where all the falls stream into.
And there's this free hotspring. Truly fantastic place for a day visit.

Xiao You Keng (Yang Ming Shan)

Another interesting foot path in Yang Ming Shan. This is a crack off the volcanic ground. I could even see hotspring coming out and boiling. A foot path leads from here to the top of the Cising Mountain, the highest peak in Taipei. Too bad I only managed to scale half of the footpath (1.6km in length) due to lack of time (daylight is failing and I have to catch the last bus back to town). Next time for sure.

Badminton in Taipei!

I play badminton every Tuesday and once in a while on Friday. The playing standard here is quite high - something I didn't expect but much to my pleasant surprise.

Di Re Ku - the famous hotspring

The famous Di Re Ku in Beitou - smouldering hot it is 90 degree celcius.

The scenic Qing Tian Gang

One of the many footpath in the Yang Ming Shan Natural Park. I walked from Leng Shui Keng to Qing Tian Gang. A truely breathtaking scenic view - plains with mountain and azure sky as backdrop.

Taken at the back of an university - was it wen hua da xue?
